A letter from our Executive Director, Antoinette Wallace

Welcome to Coburg Village, It’s a both privilege and a blessing to serve as executive director. Here we create an environment where our senior residents remain independent while continuing to learn, grow, and thrive. We do this by providing supportive services and amenities, as well as social, cultural, and educational activities that nourish the mind, body, and soul.

Many of our residents are from the Capital Region, and as a result of the array of services offered at here Coburg Village, are able to continue to serve as active members in a community they call home.

Our professional and caring staff become almost like an extended family for many of our residents. They strive to provide the highest level of service ensuring that our residents are comfortable and secure. Our friendly staff takes the time to get to know each resident. In return, they experience the gift of the many stories, talents, and life-experiences each resident brings to the community.  

I think what makes Coburg Village so unique and truly special is our residents. Our active Resident’s Association ensures that residents have a voice and are engaged in their Coburg Village community.  When a new resident moves in, our resident-led Buddy Committee welcomes them and “shows them the ropes.” It’s a great way to build lasting social connections and discover all that life at Coburg Village has to offer.  

Coburg Village is a beautifully designed community offering spacious apartments and cottages located on 26-wooded acres. Our residents can enjoy many amenities, including three restaurant-style dining areas, a salt-water pool, a greenhouse and gardens, a bocci ball court, an interfaith chapel, and so much more.
